Set the Purpose of Your Tile Sample
Tilvanta Ceramics coordinates tile sample requests for importers, distributors, building-material wholesalers and project buyers. Samples may support product selection, appearance review, specification confirmation or packaging approval across our four core tile categories.
Tell us what you need to approve before sample preparation begins. An existing product sample and a newly developed pattern involve different work, costs and schedules. We review the request against the selected product and identify which details the proposed sample can represent.
Provide References and Order Requirements
Include the tile category, intended application, nominal dimensions, thickness, finish and estimated quantity per design. Attach reference photographs, artwork, drawings or physical samples where available.
For appearance matching, identify the essential background color, pattern scale, texture and gloss. Our colors and pattern customization information explains the references needed for design review.
If the project requires particular technical properties or supporting reports, state them separately. A visual sample does not establish measured performance or confirm compliance with every destination requirement.
Distinguish Finish Samples from Full-size Samples
A small sample can help review color, glaze and texture, but it may not show the complete pattern or dimensional characteristics of a full tile. Confirm whether the request needs a cut sample, a full-size piece or several representative tiles.
For designs with intentional variation, one piece may not show the expected range. Review the required number of samples and whether a dry layout is needed to assess pattern repetition or direction.
Record any limitations of the supplied sample so appearance approval is not mistaken for approval of unreviewed dimensions or performance.
Confirm Sample Costs and Preparation Time
Standard sample preparation typically takes 5–10 working days. This refers to preparation rather than delivery to the buyer. Freight arrangements and estimated transit time are confirmed separately.
New patterns, adjusted finishes, special dimensions or branded packaging may add development time and cost. Sample charges, revision work and shipping costs are confirmed for the specific request before preparation.
Provide the delivery address, contact details and any courier requirements. Sample packing is assessed for the selected pieces, with protection intended to reduce movement and contact damage during transport.
Record Approval against an Identifiable Reference
Review the received samples alongside the written specification. Confirm the product reference, dimensions represented, color, pattern, finish and any accepted variation under consistent viewing conditions.
Approval should identify the sample or reference version clearly. Note requested changes before proceeding, and reassess whether revised samples are needed. Unresolved differences should remain open rather than being covered by a general “approved” message.
Where packaging is included, review the artwork and packing specification separately through OEM and private-label packaging.
Carry Approved Details into Production
Before production scheduling, align the approved reference with the order quantity, specifications, inspection requirements and packaging details. A separate production sample is assessed where required; it is not assumed for every order.
Agreed checks during tile sorting and production inspection may cover dimensions, appearance, shade, batch identification and packing. Required performance testing remains a separate confirmed item.
Mass production typically takes around 25–40 days after order details and any required sample are approved. Later changes require a review of cost and timing.
Send Your Sample Request
Share what you need to evaluate, the product references, required sample format, quantity per design and destination. For standard tiles, the typical planning MOQ is around 300–500 m² per design; development requests are assessed separately.
We will review suitable sample options, applicable charges, preparation timing and the information needed for approval before the order moves forward.
